The Ultimate Summer Bucket List

July 9, 2017

Working an 8 – 5 job feels like it can take over your entire life if you don’t play your cards right. I feel like I’ve gotten into a routine of going to work, getting home, and sleeping, finding it difficult to fill my life with the things that make me oh so happy. I’ve created this summer bucket list so that hopefully I can spice things up, and you can too!

Reading Bucket List

FINALLY read The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe by CS Lewis

Jennifer Mathieu’s Moxie

  • Zoe Sugg from @Zoella recommended this in her latest Book Club.
  • Purchase from Amazon here: Moxie: A Novel

Fashion Bucket List

Can you tell that I’m majorly into accessories right now? I’ve been eyeing these Casteñer Carina espadrilles for months. Also fun fact, that purse I found via an Instagram ad so I guess those work…

Life Bucket List

Get at least some sort of a tan

Visit either the aquarium or the Zoo

Discover the best grilled cheese in Dallas

Figure out more ways to reduce my waste

Find the best random photo ops in the area to step up my Instagram game

bishop_arts_wings_bucket_list

I already found one in Bishop Arts!

Makeup Bucket List

Can I really call it a makeup bucket list if I’m only intending to purchase one product on the list and the others I will only own in my dreams?

But really, the question is how to look as bronzy as possible without any of the effort of laying out or self-tanning.

Podcast Bucket List

Finish The Black Tapes

Per the website: The Black Tapes is a serialized docudrama about one journalist’s search for truth, her enigmatic subject’s mysterious past, and the literal and figurative ghosts that haunt them both.  How do you feel about paranormal activity or the Supernatural? Ghosts? Spirits? Demons? Do you believe?

Binge Invisibila from the National Public Radio

Per the website: Invisibilia (Latin for all the invisible things) is about the invisible forces that control human behavior – ideas, beliefs, assumptions and emotions. Co-hosted by Lulu Miller, Hanna Rosin and Alix Spiegel, Invisibilia interweaves narrative storytelling with scientific research that will ultimately make you see your own life differently.

…Find more podcasts… Oops. I guess that’s what I get for having a 45-minute commute each way and completely rolling through them as I find them. (Stay tuned to my next iteration of Podcast Roundup, coming soon!)
