Back for week TWO of my Favorite Friday Five. Did you see last weeks’ iteration?
Tarte Shape Tape
This concealer is what dreams are made of (sing to me Paolo).
It will seriously cover anything and makes my life so much easier. I don’t need to cake a lot of product under my eyes or on my spots – just a little goes a long way (and makes me feel better about spending $27 on a concealer).
I have the color light-medium, but I’ll probably go one shade lighter the next time I need to purchase (in 2048).
Leuchtturm1917 – Weekly Planner & Notebook
I’m not one of those people who want to be a bullet journaler. It honestly stresses me out and I would much rather have a few parameters to live within. What does this say about me?
I chose the bright yellow one because who needs boring black (literally me calling the kettle black). I stuck a few of my favorite Polaroid photos on the front (that have held up surprisingly well).
I’ve always been a Moleskine girl (and still am for my journaling needs), but I thought I’d try out the hype and switch to the dark side. It’s been great so far; one side has the days of the week and the other is blank lines for notes.
Above is a screenshot so you can see the variety of color options and a mockup of the flat-lay.
There are a ton of different variations on the website, too – check it out!
Pop Punk Perfection
I have been listening to this playlist on Spotify 99% of the time. It’s a combination of old-school pop-punk and new hits.
Here a few of my absolute favorites:
My Friends Over You – New Found Glory
Check Yes Juliet – We The Kings
Stitches – State Champs (Shawn Mendes cover)
In Bloom – Neck Deep
Michelangelo, Meet Michelangelo
This brings SO MUCH JOY to my heart, despite how cheesy it is.
This morning we welcomed Michelangelo, one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (@TMNT) at The Met. Our celebrity guest came to see the work of an artist who happens to share his name. https://t.co/jUPJhto7Xr #MetMichelangelo pic.twitter.com/YS7T5xZv9a

She’s in grad school for literature in London, after finishing college in Edinburgh. She loves books, fashion, has a gorgeous blog, and dang she lives a life I’d love to live (go binge her travel vlogs to Thailand). She makes me wish I was covered in beautiful tattoos and piercings (don’t worry, mom), and that we were best friends. (@Jess – if you’re reading this, I’m probably free).
