Happy Friday, Folks! We’re back at with my favorite things of the week!
New Music Friday
5 Seconds of Summer AND State Champs both have new albums out today! I’ve already binged these albums and can tell you that they’re WELL WORTH your time.
Check them out below and run to your nearest Target to pick up a copy.
Tide To Go Pen
This has been SUCH a lifesaver this week. I’m consistently spilling things on myself and I find that this thing makes sure I can pretend to be an adult.
Another quick tip I’ve learned lately (as a result of me getting lipstick ALLLLL over a shirt I was trying on at a store) – use Windex. The associate sprayed the stains with Windex and used a baby wipe to scrub it all off. Worked perfectly!
Fossil Camilla Convertible Backpack
I honestly don’t own this bag from Fossil, but I really want to. It’s a purse, a crossbody, and a backpack. Win-Win! And right now at Macy’s, they’re doing 25% off… tempting.
Also, if you haven’t been to the Fossil website in a while, check it out. The Camilla bag shown above’s page is “under maintenance”, so you can check this link for a different color and see what I mean. You can see size comparisons to things like a water bottle, computer, iPad, and more! You can even change the height of the model wearing the purse.
Heather and I went to the monthly meeting for the Dallas Paleontological Society and got to hear from Dr. Kate Andrzejewski speaking about dinosaurs at Proctor Lake. There were definitely a lot of words we didn’t understand and were frantically trying to Google things, but overall we had a great time. There was even food!
This group goes on trips looking for fossils, has guest speakers (like we participated in), and share in all of their findings. Heather and I found out about this group while at the Perot Museum of Nature and Science in Dallas (who has a new dinosaur exhibition opening next week!).

5SOS Cocktail Chats
5SOS making a second appearance in one Friday Favorite Five? It’s a good week.
They’ve started making “Cocktail Chats” speaking about different songs on the new album (linked above).
